As an engineer, I have worked on projects ranging from anti-counterfeiting machines for currency to designing office furniture to a giant floating swan named Sandy. One thing is common in all these projects — I have to work well with others in order to accomplish a goal. I have had the pleasure of working with many people with many different personalities, good and bad. I realize that I may not have the best ideas myself, but as long as I have built a relationship with someone who has a good idea, we can work together and get something done.
Our city is going through some financial challenges right now. However, we are in much better shape than many other towns that do not have the community spirit, sound city management, hard working city employees and thriving economy that Healdsburg has. We even have the opportunity to expand our economic base and improve parts of the city that need it desperately.
This does not mean that we do not need to make sacrifices. My duty, if elected, is to make the tough decisions that need to be made. Know that I will make them in a fair and unbiased manner. If you know me or have worked with me on a project, you know that I give 100 percent to the things that I am enthusiastic about. I am enthusiastic about being a part of the Healdsburg City Council and I respectfully ask for your vote.
If you have any questions, I can be reached at 707 206 2371 or sf*********@ya***.com.
If you would like more information about me, I have online candidate profiles in both Healdsburg Patch and smartvoter.org.
