The Windsor Wicked 12 and under girls fast-pitch softball team is in the midst of an outstanding summer on the Northern California tournament circuit, most recently capturing first place in the Bill Bowen Invitational Tournament held in Sonoma on July 21-23. Windsor won all five of their games over the three-day weekend event.
Strong defense excellent pitching performances were the keys for Windsor, as hurlers Mia Avila, Carlie Smith and Grace Boyle allowed a total of just five runs in five tourney games.
Led by coach Scott Zwetsloot, players include Jennifer Doherty, Nalani Silva, Grace Boyle, Mia Avila, Breanna Rivers, Taylor Reese, Riley Zwetsloot, Esperanza Marquez, Adriana Novak, Nina Soto and Carlie Smith.
Next up for the Windsor Wicked is participation in the Davis Tournament on August 4-5.
