Jags preparing for NBL Championships on April 27
Post-season swim meets are all about achieving peak performance for participating athletes, and that appears to be the case for the Jaguars as they prepare for the upcoming North Bay League Championships.
The NBL meet will take place on April 26 and 27 at Santa Rosa Junior College, with several of the Jags’ top swimmers eyeing a qualifying trip to the prestigious North Coast Section meet in May.
Of particular note at the league finals will be junior Connor Wong, who will attempt to defend his NBL title in the 100 Butterfly. Wong has already posted a pair of NCS consideration times this season.
Jags split with Pumas
Windsor wrapped up the NBL dual meet schedule on April 9 at Maria Carrillo, with the Jaguars dominating the varsity boys competition, 101-56, while the Lady Jags fell to the Pumas, 132-38.
“This was a great meet, the boys all won their events except for one,” WHS coach Kelli Wong reported. “Our varsity boys are doing such a great job, they’re working well as a team and on their own individual events.”
Below are the varsity winners from the April 9 dual meet with Maria Carrillo.
