Healdsburg players competitive in multi-club tournament
On Aug. 1, the Windsor Golf Club hosted the seventh annual North Bay Junior League golf tournament. The event featured 51 junior golfers from eight different clubs throughout Sonoma County, ranging in age from seven to 17. The participating clubs were Bennett Valley, Fairgrounds, Fountaingrove, Healdsburg, Northwood, Petaluma Country Club, Santa Rosa Country Club and Windsor.
The overall winner of the event was Petaluma Country Club, which now trails Bennett Valley by two points in the overall standings. Windsor once again finished third in the event and is currently in third place overall with one event remaining. Healdsburg Golf Club stands seventh.

Healdsburg team scores were Kellen Collins and Keely Collins, 42; Gavin Curran and Grant Wilhelm, 47; Becka Addison and Brooklyn Viramontes, 51; Ben Tisman and Ishwar Jayaraman, 52.
The North Bay Junior League has 45 juniors competing for the Individual Medal player championship. Windsor will host the first through fourth rounds on Aug. 18 and 19. Santa Rosa Country Club will host the championship and consolation match on Aug. 25. Tee times start at 2 p.m. each day.
The top three juniors in the North Bay League are Enzo Scaccalosi (Petaluma Country Club, 37.3); Griffin Quan (Bennett Valley, 37.3); and Alex LemMom (Bennett Valley, 37.7). Kellen Collins of Healdsburg stands eighth (43.3) and the highest ranked individual player from Windsor is Will Hoff (9, 43.3).
The top Windsor players in the North Bay League are Will Hoff (8, 43.3), Dillon Stefani (9, 43.7), Alex Barragan (14, 45.3), Jackson Calegari (16, 45.3), Patrick Logue (20, 48.0), Nick Savano (21, 48.3), Will Schettler (22, 49.0), Wim Sirks (23, 49.7), Ben Sutherland (24, 51.7), Gavin Khan (25, 52.3), Mason Tomasek (27, 54.3) and Marco Palacios (29, 61).
The top Healdsburg players in the North Bay League are Kellen Collins (8, 43.3); Henry Lando has played 2 events with an average of 51.5; Alex Cyphers has played 2 events with an average of 55.0; Lillie Dayton has played 2 events with an average of 55.5; and Owen Behrens has played 1 event with an average of 64.
