McGee stays hot for Jags’ baseball team

Senior infielder Ian McGee has been red hot at the plate in a strong spring campaign for the Jaguars, contributing key hits on a regular basis. Carrying a .368 season batting average, McGee turned in one of his best games of the year in the NCS Division 2 playoff opener against Tamalpais, ripping two hits in four trips while knocking in a run to help his team to a 6-0 victory.
Gehrett a steady veteran for WHS softballers
Junior softball veteran Averie Gehrett is in the midst of a great spring season for the Lady Jaguars in their march toward the postseason, giving the team a big boost with her bat and glove. Gehrett has been among the Jags’ best defenders with a .955 fielding percentage, but has been equally strong at the plate with 15 hits and a team-best 16 runs scored.
