Recent storms wreak havoc with spring schedules
Windsor High school softball and baseball teams will play a full slate of games this week following two weeks of wet weather that forced the postponement of several games.
The varsity baseball Jaguars (3-1) had a pair of outings rained out last week and was preparing to open a busy stretch on March 26 in the North Bay League opener at Ukiah. The Jags will visit Maria Carrillo on Wednesday, March 28 (4 p.m.) and come home to host Santa Rosa this Friday, March 30 (4 p.m.).
Windsor will participate in the annual A.L. Rabinovitz Tournament on April 3-4 (times and locations TBA).
Meanwhile the WHS varsity softball team (3-2) was to open the NBL campaign at Maria Carrillo on March 27, followed by a home tilt with Santa Rosa on Thursday, March 29 (4 p.m.).
