Jaguars hopeful of spot in North Coast Section playoffs
The Jaguars did all they could to extend their season last week in finishing up the North Bay League schedule with a split in a pair of games, keeping their postseason hopes alive with a huge win over Montgomery.
Windsor (11-13, 4-10) will now put their fate in the hands of the North Coast Section Division-2 playoff seeding committee, which meets this Sunday, May 22 to fill out the 16-team bracket. Check the NCS website at cifncs.org/sports/baseball/ for updated playoff information as it becomes available.
Windsor (11-13, 4-10), began the stretch on May 11 with their fourth win of the campaign over the Vikings, a result that should help their playoff chances. The Jags are currently ranked number 14 within Division-2, one spot behind Montgomery. Â
