West County high school baseball teams succumbed to late winter storms last week, forcing the postponement of a flurry of scheduled games.
El Molino baseballers had a pair of games washed out due to rain, while Analy managed one outing and had one game postponed.
At press time the Lions (2-2) were prepping for a March  15 visit to Willits, and will come home to host Willits on Saturday, March  19 (3:30 p.m.). Other upcoming games include a visit to Windsor on March  25 (4 p.m.) and the league opener at Sonoma Valley on Tuesday, March  29 (7 p.m.).
The Tigers (2-2), fresh off a 5-0 loss to San Marin, will resume non-league play this week with scheduled games at Miramonte March  15, after press time), and home against Eureka on Thursday, March  17 (4 p.m.). Analy will hit the road next week (March  21-23) for three games in the Rancho Cucomonga Classic Tournament.  The Tigers kick off the SCL campaign on March 29 at Elsie Allen (4 p.m.).

Analy played host to visiting San Marin in a March  8 meeting in Sebastopol, but the bats didn’t cooperate as the Mustangs limited the Tigers to just three hits on the day.  San Marin tallied a solo run in the first, three in the third and iced it with another insurance score in the seventh en route to a 5-0 win. No stats were reported.
