The board and the vendors of the Wednesday evening Healdsburg Farmers’ Market have decided that the market is too slow to keep it open through its original date at the end of October. The last market of the season will be Wednesday, Sept. 27.
According to market manager Janet Ciel, “We will review this year’s efforts and seek to change both location and day/time for upcoming years. This location and time have not proven successful for many years, so it’s time to shake it up. Our wonderful Saturday market will remain open through the end of November, and expand to include a holiday craft market at the end of its run.”
Ciel added: “Thank you to all who support our markets, and we’re very sorry for the inconvenience this will cause for those who do not know about the closure.”
