The CHS varsity volleyball team notched one win in two NCL 1 outings last week, pushing their record to 5-3 in league and 13-4 on the season.
Cloverdale opened the stretch on Oct. 3 against visiting Clear Lake, falling to the Cardinals in three sets 12-25, 16-25 and 18-25.
Statistical leaders for the Eagles included Camryn Figueroa (5 kills, 9 service points, 12 digs) and Hannah Bireschi (15 assists, 9 service points, 4 kills).
The ladies were back on the court at Willits two nights later, soundly defeating the Wolverines in straight sets; 25-16, 25-13 and 25-15. 
“This was a balanced team effort and a great team win,” CHS coach Margaret Fitzgerald reported.
Pacing the attack were Tehya Bird (10 service points, 9 kills), Figueroa (10 service points, 8 kills), Lane Hughes (10 service points, 10 digs), Bireschi (10 service points, 18 assists) and Jaedyn Jenkins (8 service points, 14 digs).
Scheduling notes
The Eagles will be back in action at home on Thursday, Oct. 12 against visiting Middletown (5 p.m.) and will participate in a tournament at St. Vincent in Petaluma on Saturday, Oct. 14 (match times TBD).  Cloverdale will visit Lower Lake next Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m..
