Ladies to host No. 12 Credo in opening round
The Lady Eagles (11-2, 19-4) will represent the No. 5 seed in the North Coast Section Division 5 volleyball playoff tournament this week.
At press time the team was preparing to open up at home on Tuesday, Nov. 5 against No. 12 Credo (7 p.m.). Should Cloverdale advance, it will face No. 4 Convent & Stuart Hall on the road on Wednesday, No. 6 at 7 p.m.
Eagles wrap up league season
The ladies put the final touches on a second-place NCL1 campaign with a convincing win over Lower Lake on Oct. 22, turning back the Trojans in three; 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.
The team paid tribute to graduating seniors Tehya Bird, Lane Hughes and Maci Hernandez before the match.
Statistical leaders for Cloverdale were Bird (17 kills, 7 service points, 9 digs), Hughes (7 Kills, 4 service points, 17 digs) and Hernandez (2 kills, 11 service points).
