Velma Josephine Yager, 88, passed away in Santa Rosa on March
19, 2005. Velma is a native of Stockton. She was the dearly beloved
wife of the late Burton Myron Yager; mother of Donald Yager and his
wife Jan of Idaho and Robert Yager of Colorado; grandmother of
seven and great-grandmother of 10; mother-in-law of Patti Madsen
and her husband Bob; she was preceded in death by her son Tom
Yager. Velma and Burton were owners of Yager Pump and Well for many
years. She left a void at Chancellor Place in Windsor where she had
been living. Velma had a great sense of humor, was kind and caring
and was a really neat lady who will be greatly missed by all. At
her request, no formal services will be held. Interment will be at
Santa Rosa Memorial Park. If desired, donations in her memory may
be made to Memorial Hospice, 821 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa, CA
95401.
