It’s not too soon to mark your calendar for the revamped
fund-raiser that benefits the Wine Library Associates of Sonoma
County, that takes place on Saturday, June 18 from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
at Richard’s Grove and Saralee’s Vineyard on Slusser Road.
Previously called Sonoma Odyssey, the new program will showcase
food and wine pairings from more than a dozen great chefs and local
wineries working together under the majestic oak trees. The
retooled event promises greater funding for the Wine Library
Associates “and the capability of supporting an associate
beneficiary, the Farm Worker Housing Fund,” according to Mike
Neely, president of the Wine Library Associates of Sonoma County.
In addition to the food and wine, there will be collectible wine
lots, creative artifacts and wine country lifestyle offerings for
auction and raffle. Sponsors for the event include Sonoma West
Publishers and KRCB. Reservations for the event may be made by
calling 431-2898. Tickets are $40 for Wine Library Associates
members and $50 for non-members. More information at sonomaodyssey.
