will host the 30th annual “Symphony of Food and Wine” on Sunday,
March 13 from 3 to 5 p.m. in Finley Hall at the Sonoma County
Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. The food and wine tasting event, which
is the longest-running event of its kind in Sonoma County, benefits
the Santa Rosa Symphony youth music education program. Guests will
be able to sample hors d’oeuvres, desserts and beverages from
Sonoma County wineries, restaurants, bakeries, caterers and
purveyors. Brent Farris of KZST will emcee the event, which will
include a raffle with trips, cash and other prizes. Live music will
be provided by the Santa Rosa Youth Symphony Orchestra and the
Santa Rosa Symphony Young People’s Chamber Orchestra. Tickets are
$30 in advance and $35 at the door, and include a souvenir glass.
