The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 15 and 16
from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there will be special offers on Monday.
Jan. 17. There will be 93 wineries and 25 lodgings offering special
treats and hospitality. Guests can meet winemakers and taste
limited production wines at wineries not generally open to the
public.

The farming philosophy of
biodynamics

continues to gain recognition as an important practice for
achieving site-specific wines of exceptional quality. On Jan. 10,
Nicolas Joly of Coulee de Serrant and Wholistic Estate Management
expert Alan York of Benziger Family Winery will address the theory
and practical application of biodynamics and how it relates to wine
quality. The seminar will be held at the Golden Gate Room at Fort
Mason in San Francisco from 9 a.m. 12 p.m. R.S.V.P. by Dec. 31 to
