Laguna Art Show (correct date)
The Laguna Arts and Garden Gala is quickly approaching, but not
as quickly as we reported last week in our new Art Queue section.
The art show and auction will not take place on Sept. 11, but
rather on Sunday, Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. at Vine Hill House in
Sebastopol. The premiere event will feature the work of local
artists who have been inspired by the Laguna de Santa Rosa.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Laguna de Santa Rosa
Foundation, which provides restoration, conservation and
educational programs. For more information about the event, call

Afternoon of Indian storytelling
The California Indian Museum will offer a free “Afternoon of
Indian Storytelling” on Saturday, Aug. 28 from1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at
the museum, located at 5250 Aero Dr., in Santa Rosa. Call 579-3004
