Lowdown,” which has more than 125,000 suscribers. He delivers about

groups and rallies.
Election season antidote: Meditate
Two West County meditation teachers are offering a series of
electoral season public meditations. “The aim is that through these
sittings, we would all exercise our vote from a place of
centeredness rather than fear and anger,” said Laura Duggan, a
teacher from the Indian philosophical traditions. She will be
joined by Myosho Virginia Matthews, an ordained lay Rinzai Zen nun.
The meditations will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. each Saturday in
October in the Peace Garden at Ragle Ranch Park in Sebastopol.
There are some benches, but people are encouraged to bring their
own mats or cushions.
