Teresita Josefa Collins, age 58, died unexpectedly Dec 12, 2018. She was a former resident of Windsor, CA, but her heart was always in San Francisco, her birthplace and where she last resided.
She was born October 9th, 1960 in San Francisco to Heinot and Helen (Melendez) Hintereder.
She graduated from Ursuline High school in 1978 and attended Santa Rosa Junior College. Teresita was the first Town Clerk for the Town of Windsor upon its incorporation and for many years thereafter.
Teresita was a beloved daughter, mother and sister.
She is survived by her mother Helen Hintereder, brother Ernest Hintereder (Sherie), sister Sonia Torre (Michael) and sister Magda Hintereder (Michael).
Beloved mother to Alexis Collins and Anthony Collins.
Teresita was always vibrant and the bright star in the room. She was loved by many. She was a talented and passionate artist, a fitness enthusiast and a volunteer at the San Francisco Aids Foundation.
She will be greatly missed.
Family, friends and others whose lives Teresita touched are invited to the Eggen and Lance Mortuary, 1540 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa on Saturday, Dec 29, at 1:00 p.m.
