Aug. 19, 1931 to Feb. 20, 2017. Born in Woodland, California. Attended a one-room schoolhouse called ‘Wildwood’ in Colusa County. Grew up in Santa Barbara, where the ocean became one of his passions. Tedd’s love for the Arts was obvious. He participated in theatre performances and developed an interest in photography, thus providing many images for the Cloverdale Arts Festival. Another fond hobby was pride in his garden. One neighbor said of Tedd: ‘He’s even impeccably dressed while doing yard work!’ Perhaps the key to beautiful plants! Tedd served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He returned to complete his M.ED. in Education, teaching High School for over 30 years in Southern California. As a collector of art, he donated his beautiful collection to Sonoma State College. Tedd fashioned his life style after his beloved mother and father. He was fond of his family. I am privileged to have been his sister. His final wish was to have his ashes scattered at sea. So be it, and with love, Paige.
