The Analy and El Molino swim teams logged an exciting day of competition at the Sonoma County League Championships held at Santa Rosa Junior College on April 27-28, with both teams crowning individual relay champions.
Sonoma Valley won both the boys and girls team titles by a wide margin for the second straight year. The El Molino boys were fourth overall while Analy was fifth. The Analy girls finished a strong second while the El Molino girls were sixth.  
The El Molino boys were led by individual champions Ben Zeigler, who took first in both the 100 Backstroke (55.36) and 200 Freestyle (1:51.75) and John Paneno (1st place100 Breaststroke (1:07.57), while the Lion’s 200 Medley Relay team of Zeigler, Paneno, Stephen Bullard and Andrew Liput also won a league title. Other notable individual efforts for the Lions were turned in by Liput (2nd place 500 Freestyle, 4th 100 Freestyle), Bullard (8th place 50 Freestyle, 8th 100 Freestyle) and Grant Feige (11th place 50 Freestyle, 12th 100 Freestyle).
Leading the way for the Analy boys were Josiah Miller (2nd place 100 Backstroke, 2nd 100 Breaststroke), Joao Mesquita (5th place 50 Freestyle, 9th 100 Freestyle), Alec Dierke (5th place 1000 Freestyle, 9th 500 Freestyle) and Lucca Aldana (15th place 50 Freestyle). The Tiger’s 200 Medley relay team of Mesquita, Aldana, Dierke and Miller captured third place overall. 
Pacing the Analy girls was individual champion Sophie Boisseau, who took first in the 100 Butterfly (1:00.61) and was fourth in the 100 Backstroke. Other top performers for the Lady Tigers were Grace Moussa (2nd place100 Backstroke, 2nd 100 Butterfly), Mikayla Royer (3rd place 100 Freestyle, 4th 100 Breaststroke), Camryn Dierke (9th place 500 Freestyle), Amina Rand-McNeil (5th place 500 Freestyle), Genna Roan (6th place 100 Backstroke) Koko Togami (6th place 100 Breaststroke, 6th 200 IM) and Coco Royer (7th place 100 Freestyle,10th 100 Backstroke), Cora Oranato (8th place 100 Freestyle, 9th 50 Freestyle) and Emmy Linstedt (7th place 50 Freestyle).
In addition, the Analy 200 Medley Relay team of Moussa, Mikayla Royer, Boisseau and Genna Roan took first in 1:58.77.
The El Molino girls were led by Grace McCormick (9th place 100 Breaststroke), Riley Schondel (8th place 200 IM, 12th 100 Breaststroke), Holly Stouffer (12th place 500 Freestyle) and Natalie Milan 15th place 100 Backstroke). The El Mo 200 Freestyle Relay team of Stoufer, McCormick, Mikayla Kimes and Schondel took fifth place overall.
