Supporting McGuire

Editor: As someone who lives in the 4th District, I’ve been
watching the candidates running for this seat very carefully. Truth
is, I’ve watched many candidates over the years and I can honestly
say, I’ve never been more impressed than I am with Mike McGuire.
The poise and graciousness with which Mike carries himself is
something you just don’t see in politics. He’s all the usual things
one looks for; smart, knowledgeable on the issues, an abundance of
very important and relevant experience, but more than that he
demonstrates a genuineness that goes way beyond experience and
intellect. Talking with Mike or watching him address a crowd
reminds me of hearing about the old days from my dad when our
elected officials were polite and treated everyone with respect. I
think he’s exactly what we need. An open, honest, genuine, elected
official who truly is interested in what everyone has to say…what a
novel concept. He’s won my vote and I suspect anyone who sees him
in action will be won over too. I look forward to having Mike
McGuire as my Supervisor in the 4th district.
