The El Molino boys soccer team has local bragging rights over neighboring Analy for the first time in over two decades, completing a season sweep over the Tigers with an exciting, 3-2 win on Feb. 7.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Youth Organization Game of the Week

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church’s 4th grade girls team came up one point short in the Catholic Youth Organization Game of the Week. St. Rose of Santa Rosa won the exciting game by a 20-19 final score. Coach James Bell’s team record dropped to 1-4 in league play.

CHS cross country teams battle Lower Lake

On Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Cloverdale High School Boys Varsity Cross Country team defeated Lower Lake 23/32, led by Emmett Lawson’s fourth place finish in a 23-runner field. Coach Clint Kemp described the course as “a monstrous 2.9 mile course, appropriately named Bald Hill.” Nick Schnieder and Nick Rilea finished 11th and 12th.

Eagles Cross Country girls end season undefeated

At their final meet on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Willits, the Eagle girls ended their regular season undefeated for the second year in a row. With five runners on each team Cloverdale, with 21, handily beat Willits and Clearlake whose final scores were 51 and 52 respectively.  St. Helena did not have five runners, so their team finishes did not count.
