Jayde Hill collected a pair of hits in a 17-hit attack for the Lady Tigers in the North Coast Section Division-3 softball playoffs on May 27.

Analy senior softball ace Saja Spearman-Weaver saved her best effort for the North Coast Section Division-3 playoff quarterfinals, crafting a five-inning perfect game to lead the Lady Tigers past visiting Acalanes, 13-0.
The May 27 gem propelled the third-seeded Tigers (21-5) into the NCS semifinals on June 1 (after press time) at number two ranked Bishop O’Dowd, with the reward for the winner a trip to the Division-3 title game against either top-seeded Pinole Valley or number four San Marin on June 3 or 4 (date, time and location TBD).
Analy advanced to the NCS quarterfinals against number 11 Acalanes by virtue of a first-round bye, and no doubt used the added rest to prepare for the visiting Dons.
The Tigers wasted no time in establishing control, staking Spearman-Weaver to a 6-0 lead in the first inning. It was more than enough run support for the hard-throwing senior, as she overpowered the Dons with a full repertoire of pitches.
Pounding out an eventual 17 hits, the Analy offense put the game on ice with seven more runs in the next three frames en route to an early stoppage after five for a 13-0 win.
Spearman-Weaver (5 IP, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 BBs, 7 Ks) recorded her first perfecto of the season.
Leading hitters were Jayde Hill (2 for 2, 2 runs, 2 RBIs), Crystal Gevas (2 for 3, 2 runs, RBI), Carson Rasmussen (2 for 4, 2B, 2 runs), Kelsi Roman (2 for 3, 2 runs, 2 RBIs), Claire Nelson (2 for 3, 2 runs, RBI), Mackenzie Evangelisti (2 for 3, 2 runs, RBI), Gemma Gonzalez (2 for 2, 3 RBIs), Peyton Bratton (1 for 1, 2B, 2 RBIs), Payton Cords (1 for 1, run) and Kaiya Ming (1 for 3).
