The most exciting phase of the fall soccer season will start this week for both Cloverdale teams, as the boy’s and girl’s varsity squad take the field in the North Coast Section Division 1 playoffs.
The boys (12-5-4) drew the #7 seed in the 10-team NCS tourney and will host #10 Eureka on Oct. 31 (after press time) in a 7 p.m. start. Should the Eagles win, they’ll advance to play at #2 seeded Fort Bragg on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
The Lady Eagles (11-8-2) will represent the #8 seed in their playoff tournament and will host #9 Willits on Oct. 31 in a 3:30 p.m. start. The winner will advance to visit #1 seeded Eureka on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
