The raindrops hovered, but stayed away. There was barbecue, music, munchies, vegetable starts, tiny houses and oh, so many cars.
The third annual Healdsburg High School car show and street fair drew an amiable crowd to the high school Saturday.
HHS principal Bill Halliday said the event was well-attended and “people are seeing what these students can do,” particularly projects from the auto shop and construction technology programs.
Proceeds from the event go to support the auto shop program, which is seeing a resurgence. “We’ll have three sections next year,” it’s so popular,” said Halliday.
After all, you can’t out-source car repair.
