National Tortilla Chip Day, Sunday, Feb. 24 • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Come celebrate National Tortilla Chip day at the Windsor Senior Center We will be honoring the delicious tortilla chip by hosting a local restaurant guacamole and salsa tasting contest by using delicious tortilla chips. AARP Driver’s Class, Wednesdays, Feb. 20 & 27 • Noon to 4 p.m.
This driver safety class offers methods that help compensate for normal age-related hearing, vision and other physical changes. No driving or written test is required. Those attending receive and follow along in a workbook, view slides and receive additional information from a qualified volunteer instructor. Upon completion, each person receives a certificate. Present the certificate to your insurance agent for possible discounts. Cost is $15 for AARP members, $20 for non-members. This is an 8-hour class held over two days. Tax-Aide Program, Thursdays, through April 11 • 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This AARP program provides free tax return preparation and advice. Preparers are highly trained. Please bring last year’s return and all documentation for this year’s return. No appointment needed; first-come, first-served. There is frequently a line so coming early is recommended. All donations from this program benefit the Windsor Senior Center.
Drop-in Computer Help, Monday, Feb. 25 • 2 to 4 p.m.
This drop-in group meets on the fourth Monday of each month. Do you need help with a computer problem? Do you want to learn how to set up your email? Are you having trouble uploading your pictures onto your computer? Come to this free class and ask any computer question that is stumping you.
