A competitive winter campaign was validated for 26 west county high school athletes, garnering recognition in all North Bay League voting by coaches last month.
Senior guard Sierra Atkins headed the list in girls basketball with first team all league distinction in the NBL Oak Division, while freshman Lucca Lowenberg and senior Isabel Housman achieved second team and honorable mention status respectively.
Representing the El Molino girls in the NBL Redwood Division were second team selections senior Grace Anderson and freshman Ellie Roan.Â
In boys basketball, Analy senior Quinn Vermuelen was an honorable mention selection in the Oak Division, while El Molino seniors Thomas Siegert and Sam Wilson-Mietz garnered second team and honorable mention status.Â
In the NBL Oak Division for girls soccer, first team accolades went to Analy seniors Tannin Klunis and Isabel Housman, while juniors Kaija Bazzano and Macee Wacholz were awarded second team distinction. Landing on the honorable mention team were Analy senior Megan Lucas and freshman Carissa Cortez.
In NBL Redwood Division girls soccer, first team honors went to El Molino seniors Bridget Nicales and Lily Dittman, while Kiara Garcia-Lopez and Natalie Alberigi earned second team distinction. Landing on the honorable mention squad were Carma Wilson and Elizabeth Lovera.
In NBL boys soccer (Redwood Division), Analy’s first team honorees were senior goalie Charles Janssen and senior midfielder Jackson Tilden-Browe. Second teamers were senior defender Lucas Martin and senior midfielder Sam Housman. El Molino honorees included first team selection Sergio Sanchez and second teamer Logan Myers.
