All senior center members welcome
Members of the Cloverdale Senior Multipurpose Center are in for a special treat on Valentine’s Day.
While they won’t be getting roses and chocolate when they walk through the center’s doors on Tuesday, they can get a massage and have their nails done between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. as long as they make an appointment before Tuesday. They can sign up at the center.
“It’s only for members,” executive director Jani Sheppard said. “If you want to become a member, it’s only $15.”
Sheppard said the center wanted to do something special for its approximately 600 members on Valentine’s Day.
“We have to love ourselves to love others,” Sheppard said. “This is a chance to love yourself a little bit.”
Businesses in the Cloverdale community have banded together to offer nail and massage services to the center members, according to Sheppard.
“There’s no cost for members but donations are accepted,” Sheppard said.
