The Healdsburg Senior Center is located at 133 Matheson St. in downtown Healdsburg and is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center gives preference to adults 60 and older. If there is available space, adults of all ages are welcome to participate in any program of interest. Unless otherwise noted, all programs and classes are free of charge. 30th Senior Appreciation Dinner to be Held Dec. 8
Reservations are now being accepted for the 30th Annual Senior Appreciation Dinner to be held Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 at the Villa Chanticleer. This complimentary dinner gives the City of Healdsburg and local businesses the opportunity to say thank you to our senior residents for their contributions to our fine community. Doors will open at 1 p.m. with dinner served at 1:30 p.m. A home delivered meal is also an option.  Reservations are required. For additional information and to make reservations or to order a home delivered meal please call the Senior Center at 431-3324.  
NEW ART EXHIBIT  Presented by Becoming Independent
The artists of Becoming Independent (BI) Healdsburg, are currently exhibiting seasonally themed original works in the Senior Centers dining room through Jan. 24, 2014.  These works will be priced for sale and ready to take home to your loved ones as holiday gifts.  
BI recognizes that artistic expression is an important part of the human experience. At BI ArtWorks, people with disabilities can explore and develop their personal creativity. This program gives talented individuals the opportunity to share their work with the community through individual and group projects.  
Please stop by the center during regular business hours and take a look at these wildly imaginative, colorful and one of a kind pieces.
Holiday Hours and Closures
In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Holiday, the Senior Center will be closed beginning Monday, Dec. 23 through Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.  
The Senior Center will be open during the hours of 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2 and Friday, Jan. 3, 2014. Normal business hours of 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. will resume on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014.
Bus Service Hours
There will be no bus service on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Wednesday, Dec. 25 as well as Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 and Jan. 1, 2014.  
Please plan ahead for your transportation needs.

Healdsburg Community Senior Writing Project — Tuesdays 10 a.m. – noon. Community writing project/Memoir Writing.
