The El Molino High School cross-country team enjoyed an impressive 2016 debut at the Rancho Cotate Invitational in Rohnert Park on Aug. 26, a meet which annually serves as the unofficial start of the fall campaign.
The event featured some 13 participating teams and many of the top runners in the North Bay competing on the 2.97-mile course, and boasted fast times and solid performances by both El Mo veterans and a few new faces.
The Lions were led by senior four-year star Brian Schulz, who negotiated the Rancho course in a sizzling 15:07.
Below are the complete results for El Molino runners.
