The WHS cross-country squad turned in a big effort at the North Bay League Championships held at Spring Lake in Santa Rosa on Nov. 4, a meet that decided both team and individual titles.
Leading the way for the varsity boys was talented sophomore Lucas Chung, who captured fifth place overall in a sizzling 16:06. Allegra Robertshaw led the Lady Jaguars in 31st place with a time of 21:56.
Next up for the Jags is the North Coast Section Championships in Hayward on  Saturday, Nov. 19, the last stop for athletes with State aspirations.
