Among the top league hopefuls for individual titles at the NBL championships this week are senior hurdler/jumper Maddie Call and sophomore distance specialist Lucas Chung. 

Windsor will compete in league championships on May 12 
The Windsor High School track team put in a final tune-up in the North Bay League regular season finale on May 3 at Casa Grande, taking on the Gauchos in a dual meet.
The Jags turned in a solid showing, with the varsity girls notching a 62-55 win, while the varsity boys fell to the Gauchos in team competition, 78-48.
This week, Windsor will begin the final phase of the season when it competes in the NBL Track and Field Championships hosted by Cardinal Newman (at Santa Rosa High School) on May 10-12. The competition kicks off with the trials on Wednesday, May 10 and finishes up with the finals on Friday, May 12. The schedule calls for field events to begin at 3 p.m. both days, with running events starting at 5 and 4:45 p.m. respectively on Wednesday and Friday.
Participating athletes at the NBL finals will be gunning for a top-six finish, good for advancement to the North Coast Section Redwood Empire Qualifier on Saturday, May 20.
