The Eagles continued to chase peak performance in a league cross country meet against Lower Lake on Oct. 10, turning in an outstanding team effort on the local three mile Treasury Estate Vineyard course.
The varsity boys squad recorded a 23-33 victory over the Trojans, while the varsity girls scored a perfect 15-50 victory.
Pacing the team for the varsity boys was standout Paden Collard, who finished first overall in a sizzling 17:13. Also logging strong efforts were Chris Lopez (19:24), Tucker Morgan (21:22), Joseph Faso (22:29) and Alex Visconti (28:45).
Leading the way for the varsity girls were Julie Edwards (26:19), Josephine Swartz (26:21), Christina Cardenas (29:52), Elizabeth Ruiz (30:42), Sophia Witt (34:42) and Paula Toledo (38:09).
The Eagles will host their final home meet of the season on Senior Day, Oct. 17 at 4 p.m.
