Bryan Tedrick, a nationally noted sculptor and resident of Glen Ellen, enjoys creating massive installations that encourage people to become one with his artwork. Bryan created the well known Coyote and Lord Snort sculptures and his Grazing Horse is located across from Healdsburg City Hall. He is creating a new work, Galloping Horse, for Geyserville.

This new sculpture will be approximately 25 feet tall and 25 feet wide and weigh about seven tons. Bryan is using recycled steel, some that was collected locally and redwood. Tedrick’s installations have been displayed at Burning Man since 2008. The Geyserville Community Foundation is leading the fundraising for Galloping Horse. Two-thirds of the funding has been raised with $37,000 more required.

The piece is expected to arrive in December at the Highway 128 exit where it will stay for a very long time. One hundred percent of the money raised is tax deductible and will go towards Galloping Horse. You may make a donation by sending a check to: the Geyserville Community Foundation, PO Box 593, Geyserville CA 95441 or visiting www.GeyservilleCommunityFoundation.org.
