Rotary Club Healdsburg (Noon) recently honored a total of 18 Healdsburg High School graduating seniors with college scholarships.
Students are selected based on six criteria which includes: academic excellence, individual objectives, work experience, financial need, athletic participation and community service.
A total of $17,000 was awarded to this year’s recipients. This year’s graduates will be attending SRJC, Chico State, Fresno State, Sacramento State, Cal Poly, Sonoma State, Cal State Monterey, University of Oregon, UCSB and UCLA. An additional $15,000 was granted this year to previous HHS grads in years two through four of their education.
Noon Rotary of Healdsburg is a community of friends who are committed to creating positive change in their community and the world. Rotary International brings together community leaders from all continents, cultures and occupations to share their ideas for making the world a better place.
