Rose Solterbeck -Gardener and Cook

Rose (Tantimonaco) Solterbeck, a longtime resident of
Healdsburg, died peacefully at her home on November 8, 2002. She
was 94 years old. One of the earliest employees of Hewlett-Packard,
Rose retired in 1967. Her parents started the Petaluma Macaroni
Factory in the early 1900s where she learned the art of pasta
making. Cooking and gardening were her passions. She is survived by
her daughter Barbara Elmore, granddaughter Jennifer Miller,
great-grandchildren Ean and Ivy Miller, sisters Frances Zaccanti,
Louise Menard and Anita Tantimonaco, and numerous nieces, nephews
and close friends.
