Becky passed away at the age of 52 on December 19th 2017 after 12 days in HGH’s ICU. Rebecca was born January 27th 1965 to Leland and Sharon Hale of Cloverdale. Becky was a life long resident of Sonoma County and had graduated Cloverdale High School in 1983. The Natural Look, Makers Mark, Papa’s Pizza, The Waterbed Factory are just a few of the places she has worked in and around Cloverdale.
She often talked about being a Cloverdale police cadet and shared many fond memories of the people she grew up with. Becky enjoyed visiting with friends and making hand made crafts including beadwork and jewelry. She was well-liked, having many indifferent circles of friends from all walks of life. She will be greatly missed by many.
Becky is survived by her four children: Kevin Ottoboni Jr., Zoe Ottoboni, Hana Ottoboni and Lily Hale; by her boyfriend of 7 years Russell Burres; her sisters Denise Rego (Jack) and Kathleen Hale; her brothers David Hale(Sylvia) and Jamie Hale (Colleen); and by many nieces and nephews.
The following is a Facebook post from Chrystal Coleman to Becky (after her passing) ” I will truly miss your silly laugh, those funny voices you always talked in and the smile you always had on your face. The world is a colder place without the warmth of your smile and a darker place without your light. You will be dearly missed my friend.” That quote is a good example of just how much Becky ment to us all. A celebration of Becky’s life will be held on February 17th at the Grange Hall in Cloverdale between 1 and 4.
