Monday, Sept. 25
12:12am. An assault with a deadly weapon occurred at John & Zekes Bar & Grill on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP stated a liquor bottle was broken over his head. Staff identified the suspect, who was no longer on the scene.
1:44am. An officer stopped a vehicle at City Hall on Grove Street for speeding and failing to stop at a stop sign. A 46 YO man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
11:16am. The RP was a victim of fraud at Joyeria Fernandez on Vine Street. Someone cashed checks that later bounced with the RP’s business. Officers met with the RP and took a report.
2:32pm. A vehicle was stopped and issued a citation at the 7-Eleven store on Healdsburg Avenue for expired registration tags. Drugs were found in the vehicle and the information was forwarded to the district attorney for charges.
3:44pm. Vandalism at Giorgi Park on University Street. The RP was standing next to her vehicle when one of the windows on her vehicle shattered. She doesn’t know how it happened and didn’t see anyone around when it happened. Officers responded and took a report.
4:11pm. A hit and run accident occurred at Wells Fargo Bank on Vine Street. The RP was not inside the vehicle and did not see who did hit her car. A report was taken.
10:31pm. The RP called to report a vehicle near the pumps at Chevron South on Healdsburg Avenue with three subjects in it smoking something. Officers responded and on investigation three women, ages 29, 31 and 32, were arrested on a multiplicity of charges including possession of paraphernalia, drugs, use of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and outstanding warrants from Mendocino and Lake counties.
Tuesday, Sept. 26
11:56am. A 24 YO man was cited on Kinley Drive at Magnolia Drive on two outstanding Sonoma County warrants regarding possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing.
1:13pm. A stolen motorcycle was recovered on Redwood Highway at the Lytton turnout. A 41 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for buying or receiving a stolen vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and providing false information to an officer.
2:01pm. A suspect from a previous incident was spotted by an officer at the Healdsburg Regional Library on Piper Street. The suspect fled the library on foot. Officers gave chase and ultimately the suspect was arrested and transported to county jail for assault with force likely to cause great bodily harm, aggravated battery, and violating probation.
4:46pm. Petty theft occurred at Garrett Ace Hardware on Healdsburg Avenue. A man and woman took items off the shelf and then took the items to the register for a refund. Officers responded and took a report.
Wednesday, Sept. 27
9:27am. Grand theft occurred on West Grant Street. The RP stated that one week ago he received a package which was opened and taped shut, but it did not contain his necklace that he ordered. The gold chain necklace was valued at $1,417.00.
12:50pm. Petty theft occurred at Healdsburg Lumber Company on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP stated a man stuffed items in his jacket and exited the property in a gray Toyota Camry. An officer responded and took a report.
2:43pm. A woman was physically assaulted at Badger Park on Second Street. The RP stated her boyfriend got mad at her because she would not do drugs. Then he grabbed her, put her on the ground, and squeezed her stomach and her neck. A 46 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for domestic violence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
3:22pm. Drug activity occurred at Healdsburg High School on Prince Avenue. The RP stated there was a student in possession of cannabis at school. The RP requested that the student be placed on the diversion program.
6:42pm. A hit and run accident occurred at Barndiva on Center Street. The RP discovered a note left from a witness. An officer responded and took a report.
11:42pm. An Apple watch indicated a person fell on Center Street. An officer responded and located a man down. A 47 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for public intoxication.
Thursday, Sept. 28
12:18am. A vehicle listed as stolen by the Newark Police Department was stopped at Healdsburg District Hospital on University Avenue. A 29 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for buying or receiving a stolen vehicle.
4:30pm. The RP stated a reckless driver was on the highway weaving in and out of traffic, speeding, and passing vehicles. The RP last saw the vehicle in city limits going southbound on Healdsburg Avenue at Grant Street. The information was logged, but the vehicle was no longer in Healdsburg’s jurisdiction.
4:44pm. A 47 YO man arrived at the police department lobby to speak with an officer regarding a ticket and was advised the officer was looking for him. The man was cited for violating probation and possession of methamphetamine.
9:03pm. A vehicle pulling a stolen trailer out of Rohnert Park was stopped on Healdsburg Avenue at Passalacqua Road. A 30 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for buying or receiving a stolen trailer, violating the ignition interlock device rules, driving with a suspended license, and violating probation. A 36 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for buying or receiving a stolen vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, violating probation, and violating open container laws.
Friday, Sept. 29
2:22am. A vehicle was stopped for violating headlight regulations and vehicle registration regulations on Healdsburg Avenue at Passalacqua Road. A 49 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 30 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for theft or misappropriation of lost property, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license, and driving without proof of insurance.
11:09am. The RP indicated that her neighbor went into her house on Prince Street and yelled at the RP’s sister for playing music. The sister was very scared, doesn’t speak English, and was in the home alone with her son, who is 5 YO. The RP requested the neighbor be advised not to go onto her property. Officers contacted all parties and advised the neighbor not to return.
11:32am. The RP heard a woman screaming at Badger Park on Heron Drive. The RP believed the woman lives in an illegal encampment in a tent behind a building that houses sports equipment. A 49 YO woman was arrested and transported to county jail on an outstanding warrant.
8:36pm. The RP stated that juveniles are screaming and revving the engines of vehicles on Highway 128. The RP was transferred to California Highway Patrol.
11:26pm. A driver was stopped on Redwood Highway at Dry Creek Road for weaving between lanes, unsafe lane changes, and failing to signal. A 32 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for driving under the influence, driving without a license, and driving with an open container of alcohol.
11:28pm. A 46 YO man was arrested at Badger Park on Heron Drive and transported to county jail for violating a restraining order and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, Sept. 30
3:17pm. A 43 YO man was cited and released at Safeway on Vine Street on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding graffiti.
7:16pm. The RP stated there was a subject on the ground at Fog Belt Brewery on Hudson Street. A 20 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for violating probation.
10:18pm. A 58 YO woman was cited and released at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue for driving with a suspended license.
10:58pm. A vehicle was stopped for failing to display a license plate on Redwood Highway at Arata Lane. A 30 YO man was cited and released for driving with a suspended license.
11:33pm. A driver was stopped for violating rules regarding tinted windows on Healdsburg Avenue at Marigold Drive. A 28 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for violating probation, resisting arrest, and drinking alcohol while driving.
Sunday, October 1
1:21am. The RP stated she believed a drunk driver pulled into the parking of the 7ELEVEN Store on Healdsburg Avenue. The driver “flew around her,” crossed double yellow lines, and was driving at excessive speed. Officers responded but the driver was gone on arrival and unable to be located.
2:16am. The RP stated she heard someone screaming obscenities in the street on Spruce Way at Sunnyvale Drive. The RP stated the interior light of a vehicle kept turning on and off as well as its headlights. A second caller also stated that she heard yelling, specifically “You’re intoxicated, you cannot leave anywhere.” The second caller also heard a child crying. Officers responded and a 24 YO woman was arrested and transported to county jail for public intoxication.
3:24am. The Santa Rosa Police Department requested a maroon Honda Pilot be located. Officers responded and located the vehicle. The driver matched the description of an earlier drunk driver that was unable to be located. A 23 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, and violating probation.
8:38am. Petty theft occurred at Duchamp on Foss Street. The RP had a video of a subject coming on their property and stealing items valued at $250. The RP was not willing to press charges, but wanted his property back. The officer identified the subject and advised the RP.
4:45pm. The RP stated that a subject was drinking on the patio at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue. The subject was asked not to and he refused to stop. He was also asked to leave two times and he refused to leave. Officers responded and a 33 YO man was arrested for public intoxication and committing a secondary offense while released from custody on a primary offense.
