Monday, Dec. 18

9:01am Petty theft occurred at The Taste Of Tea on North St. The Reporting Party (RP) emailed the Healdsburg Police Department (HPD) regarding a man with a dog stealing the Arlo camera from the back of the business on December 12, 2023 at 3am. The RP provided footage and wanted the incident to be documented, but was not willing to press charges.

11:59am An unwanted subject, with a no trespassing letter on file, was at the Raven Film Center on Center Street. Officers responded and asked the person to leave.

12:33pm The RP on Johnson Street stated someone was using pictures of the RP on Instagram and TikTok. She reported the information to both social media companies but they responded that there was no violation. An officer gave the RP advice.

6:29pm The unwanted subject above returned to the Raven Film Center on Center Street. Officers responded and advised the person to leave.

Tuesday, Dec. 19

9:19pm A burglary occurred at Sonoma Millworks on Grove Street on either Dec. 16 or 17, 2023. Part of the door was broken off and tools were taken. An officer responded and took a report.

4:48pm Vandalism to a vehicle was reported on Healdsburg Avenue. The vehicle was scratched on the passenger side.

8:04pm The RP stated that a woman in the Rite Aid Drugstore on Healdsburg Avenue took and ate food off the shelves and refused to leave. Officers responded and located the suspect outside of the Dollar Tree on Vine Street. A 42 year-old (YO) woman was arrested and taken to county jail for battery of a police officer, petty theft, and violating probation.

Wednesday, Dec. 20

11:16am Drunk driving was reported at CVS Pharmacy on Center Street. Officers responded and arrested a 36 YO man and took him to county jail for drunk driving.

11:35am Petty theft was reported at the United States Postal Service on Foss Creek Circle. A package valued at $344 was delivered by DHL on Dec. 15 but the post office never received it.  The RP believes the package was stolen. An officer responded and took a report.

2:47pm A transient woman refused to leave the dock area of Rite Aid Drugstore on Healdsburg Avenue. Additionally, 2 men in a white truck were drinking alcohol. Officers responded and asked the woman to leave and the men walked home.

4:28pm Threats occurred on Pheasant Drive one week ago.  The RP wanted a restraining order against a person who she said threatened to kill the RP. An officer responded and provided advice. 

Thursday, Dec. 21

8:39am A homeless person was sleeping by the drive-thru window of BMO on Center Street. An officer responded and the woman left.

8:45am A man was sleeping in front of the emergency exit at the Rite Aid Drugstore on Healdsburg Avenue. An officer responded and advised the man that a trespass letter was being submitted against him. The letter was later received and entered into the database. 

4:05pm Grand theft occurred at the Fitch Mountain Elementary Campus on Monte Vista Avenue. On Dec. 15, the RP’s bike, valued at $1,300 was stolen. An officer responded and took a report.

7:29pm Public intoxication occurred on Matheson Street at Center Street. Officers responded and the subject was with a responsible party. They were traveling to a nearby hotel on foot. .

Friday, Dec. 22

12:38am A vehicle was stopped on North Street for violating traffic signals. A 28 YO man was cited for drunk driving and released to a responsible party.

2:12pm Vandalism to a vehicle occurred on Bridle Path, likely on December 17, 2023. The damage was to the passenger side was deep, possibly made with a brick.

Saturday, Dec. 23

11:58am Petty theft  occurred at the Rite Aid Drugstore on Healdsburg Avenue. A man ran out with a small shopping basket containing hair appliances of unknown value. An officer responded and took a report.

12:20pm Warrant service occurred at Healdsburg Collision Center on Healdsburg Avenue. A 26 YO woman was cited on four outstanding Sonoma County misdemeanor warrants and one outstanding Humboldt County misdemeanor warrant, for possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, disturbing the peace, vandalism and being under the influence of a controlled substance without a prescription.

12:46pm Warrant Service occurred at the former Wicked Slush on Healdsburg Avenue. A 24 YO man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and on an outstanding misdemeanor Sonoma County warrant, also for possession of drug paraphernalia. 

2:27pm Possession of stolen property occurred at Enso Village on Boxheart Drive. An officer located a stolen vehicle.  A 43 YO man was arrested and taken to county jail for receiving a stolen vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

10:28pm Reckless driving occurred on Sunnyvale Drive. The RP stated that a truck went speeding down the road and appeared to be chasing a smaller vehicle heading westbound.  Officers responded but the vehicles were gone on arrival and unable to be located.

10:47pm A vehicle was stopped for violating rules regarding registration on Redwood Highway at Old Redwood Highway. A 50 YO man was cited and released on an outstanding Napa County warrant regarding driving on a suspended license.

Sunday, Dec. 24

12:12am A man was loitering at the 7ELEVEN Store on Healdsburg Avenue. He disturbed the employee behind the front counter and made a comment to the RP that he was going to “kick his ass.” Officers responded but the RP was no longer at 7ELEVEN.

BThe RP stated that two unwanted subjects, a man and woman, were at Wine Country Chevron on Healdsburg Avenue. The man showed a knife in a threatening way when he was asked to leave. Officers responded and determined no further action was necessary.

7:50pm Multiple RPs called regarding a fireworks violation on Arabian Way, Healdsburg Avenue, and Passalacqua Road. Officers responded but were unable to locate the suspects.
