Monday, April 22

1:04pm The Reporting Party (RP) indicated that multiple subjects were doing drugs near Hotel Healdsburg by the fountain on Matheson Street. The RP stated one subject had a knife that was four to five inches long and another subject was actively using a needle. Officers responded. A 68-year-old (YO) man was arrested and transported to county jail for violating probation, public intoxication and theft or misappropriation of lost property.

2:29pm Battery occurred at Healdsburg High School on Prince Avenue. The RP, an employee from the school, indicated that a fight took place on April 18 during school hours. Two students entered a bathroom on campus and mutually engaged in a fight. Officers planned to follow up.

2:34pm The RP, an employee at Healdsburg High School on Prince Avenue, stated that after an argument between two male students over a female, the female disclosed that her ex-boyfriend had been physically aggressive with her during their relationship in the autumn of 2023. An officer spoke with the RP and planned to follow up. 

3:36pm The RP indicated that a vehicle on Highway 101 at Old Redwood Highway was weaving in and out of traffic and slamming on the brakes in front of vehicles. Officers checked the area, but the vehicle was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

3:45pm A hostile person was threatening the bus driver at Circle K on Healdsburg Avenue. The person subsequently exited the bus and walked eastbound. Officers checked the area, but the person was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

4:21pm A vehicle was stopped for a tail light violation on March Avenue at Healdsburg Avenue.  A 61 YO man was cited and released for driving with a license suspended for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI).

11:49pm A woman went into the Harmon Guest House on Healdsburg Avenue, yelled at the RP and then left. The woman was the same person who the hotel reported on April 21, 2024. The RP was in the process of getting a trespass letter regarding the woman. The RP wanted the incident documented and would call back if the woman returned.

Tuesday, April 23

2:59pm Public intoxication occurred on West Grant Street near the railroad tracks. A man was near the Foss Creek path with no shirt on. Officers and a therapist responded. Medical treatment was started for severe intoxication. A report was taken.

4:13pm An officer stopped a 36 YO man on Dry Creek Road at Kinley Drive because the officer recognized the man was on probation. The man was cited and released for violating probation. 

5:46pm The RP stated that she witnessed a man and woman at Safeway on Vine Street in a vehicle with open containers. The people had a child with them, and subsequently all three of them went into the store. The RP was concerned about drunk driving and the well-being of the child. Officers and a therapist responded and contacted the people in the store. The people ordered a vehicle to drive them home.

6:14pm Petty theft occurred at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue on April 22, 2024. The RP stated a person stole ground beef totaling $11.15. An officer responded and took a report.

6:15pm Petty theft occurred at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue on April 22, 2024. A person took a wide variety of items totaling $183.23. An officer responded and took a report.

6:16pm Petty theft occurred at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue. A person took aluminum foil totaling $21.79. An officer responded and took a report.

Wednesday, April 24

1:19pm Vandalism occurred on Grove Street. Graffiti was carved into the moss on the RP’s retaining wall and driveway.

5:16pm Assault occurred at Healdsburg Signs on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP, an employee, stated that a man was in the back lot of the business where employees park. The man approached the RP with pepper spray and tried to attack him. The suspect had a skateboard and left the scene. Multiple other parties called six minutes later about a fight with multiple victims at Healdsburg Fire Department on Healdsburg Avenue. The same man pepper sprayed a victim and vandalized a vehicle. The 29 YO man was arrested for vandalism, unlawful use of tear gas, disturbing the peace and violating probation. He was transported to county jail.

9:06pm The RP indicated that a man and woman stole beer and other items from the 7-Eleven Store on Healdsburg Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the suspects. An officer met with the victim and took a report.

11:33pm A burglary occurred at Hotel Les Mars on North Street. The RP indicated that a woman, who was not a guest, was wandering around the hotel. Officers responded and arrested a 42 YO woman for burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and violation of probation. She was taken to county jail.

Thursday, April 25

1am Harassment occurred at the L & M Motel on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP stated that her mother’s ex-boyfriend was stalking the RP and the RP’s mother. The man texted her mother repeatedly, and when her mother didn,t respond, the man texted the RP. Both women asked the man to leave them alone, but instead he waited behind the motel for the RP’s mother. Officers responded, but the man was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

1:01pm Reckless driving was reported on Healdsburg Avenue at Grant Street. The vehicle was driven at a high rate of speed and wove in and out of traffic. Officers were advised to be on the lookout.

6:08pm Petty theft occurred at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP stated a repeat offender from a previous incident was in the store. Officers responded and cited a 46 YO man for violation of probation and petty theft.

Friday, April 26

2:10pm Grand theft occurred at Healdsburg Lumber Company on Healdsburg Avenue. $8,000 worth of material was paid for with a fake credit card. The detective spoke to the RP and took a report.

4:52pm Petty theft occurred on Trentadue Way. A wallet was stolen out of the RP’s truck, and one of his cards was used at a gas station in Santa Rosa and at Valero in Healdsburg. Officers took a report.

6:55pm Petty theft occurred at Chevron South on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP stated a man stole beer and two sandwiches. Officers responded and provided an incident number.

9:33pm Drunk driving was reported on the roundabout on Healdsburg Avenue. An officer responded, but the vehicle was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

11:06pm A transient woman looked like she was planning to sleep overnight near St. John’s Church on Matheson Street. Officers responded and advised the subject of the complaint. She moved along.

Saturday, April 27

1:52am A vehicle was stopped for unsafe lane changes on Highway 101 at Old Redwood Highway. A 23 YO man was arrested for drunk driving and violating probation. He was released to a responsible party.

2:10am A bouncer at John & Zeke’s Bar on Healdsburg Avenue stated a victim walked up to him on the street and asked him to call the police because he got “jumped.” The victim said a man hopped out of the bushes and started swinging. The victim stated he didn’t need medical attention, just a report. An officer responded and spoke with the staff at John & Zeke’s Bar.

6:37am The RP at Goodwill Industries on Healdsburg Avenue asked a man to move along, but he refused. While officers were enroute, the man left.

8:20am A transient was sleeping in front of the Healdsburg Museum on Matheson Street. Officers responded and asked the woman to move along. Subsequently, the RP called back because the woman had not left. Officers returned and waited for the woman to move along.

9:46am Reckless driving was reported on Highway 101 at the central offramp. Officers responded, but the vehicle was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

12:50pm The RP on Sunnyvale Drive said a man was threatening him with a hammer. Officers responded and contacted all parties.

1:45pm Reckless driving was reported near Villa Chanticleer on Powell Avenue at University Street. The RP stated the driver was weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating other drivers and almost hit a pedestrian with a child. Officers contacted the driver, who was not drunk, and gave him a verbal warning.

2:14pm Reckless driving was reported at Healdsburg High School on Prince Avenue. The RP stated vehicles were peeling out of the high school. Officers were working on a higher priority incident and did not respond.

7:26pm A vehicle was stopped on Highway 101 at Independence Lane for having an obscured license plate. A 24 YO man was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and violation of probation. A 55 YO man was cited and released for possession of methamphetamine and driving without a license.

8:20pm The RP indicated that a transient was in the back of the Fairview Inn and Suites on Healdsburg Avenue with a trolley, bike and dog. The business was willing to file a no trespassing letter regarding this person. An officer responded and met with the man, who moved along.

11:00pm The RP stated two people were verbally arguing at McDonalds on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP stated one man had a shovel. Officers responded. The parties were separated.

Sunday, April 28

1:19pm A subject was stopped on a bicycle on Second Street at North Street for a probation check, failing to use a turn signal and violating a stop sign. A 38 YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for possession of drug paraphernalia and on outstanding Sonoma County warrants regarding resisting arrest, trespassing, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, giving a false name to the police and driving under the influence of drugs.

6:45pm A woman sitting at the patio of Starbucks Coffee on Vine Street smoking was told by the RP that she was not allowed at the premises. Officers responded, advised the woman of the complaint, and she moved along.

7:08pm A hit and run accident occurred at Lola’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP stated he reported it to his insurance and wanted to notify the Healdsburg Police Department.
