The Fourth of July had more than fireworks for Healdsburg residents and visitors.
At the Villa Chanticleer, the Boy Scouts served up piping hot pancakes and other breakfast favorites.
Just afterward, the Plaza was packed for Healdsburg Rotary Club Sunrise’s Fourth fun.Â
More than two-thousand people packed the square at its height, according to estimates at the event. The food quickly ran out as a result, as the attendance soared over expectations. Even the six-foot pie from Costeaux French Bakery was down to its last “slice” by early afternoon.
The duck races were a hit, as always, with kids packed around the 60-feet-long shoot to see their rubber ducks float by.
There were also emergency vehicles and a fighter cockpit to explore, a fun run organized by Healdsburg Running Company and face painting, among other activities for kids and adults.
