Paloma R. Mullen passed away in Santa Rosa on March 16, at the
age of 77. Dearly beloved wife of Kenneth Mullen; loving mother of
Kathleen (Martin) Robbins of Windsor, and Bradley R. (Becky)
Williams of Banning; dear step-mother of Brenda (Alex) Birman of
Maryland, and Jeff Mullen of Arizona; adored grandmother of Kyla
(Matthew) Veit, Mindy Forrest, Heather (Herman) Suani, Ginger
Williams, Timothy Williams and Sara Williams; great grandmother of
Kaitlin Shaw, and Emily, James and John Suani; sister of Eleanor
(David) Hobden of Paradise, Robert (June) Towle of Paradise, and
Dorothy (David) Bowen of Ukiah; also survived by numerous nieces
and nephews. Born in St. Helena, Paloma was a resident of Windsor
for the past 15 years. Her long career in County Government led her
to be City Clerk of Ukiah, before moving and becoming City Clerk of
Hayward for 15 years, a position she held until retirement. Paloma
was a life long member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Her
family, her friends and her home were the center of her life. All
enjoyed her gourmet cooking and lively entertaining. She also loved
to garden.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on
Saturday, March 24, at 4:30 p.m. at the Sebastopol Seventh Day
Adventist Church, 1665 Gravenstein Hwy. North, Sebastopol. Private
inurnment at Windsor District Cemetery. In her memory,
contributions may be made to the Redwood Adventist Academy
Foundation, 385 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95404.
