Week two of the 2017-2018 North Bay Catholic Youth Organization basketball season saw many tight games. The Our Lady of Guadalupe CYO game of the week was a Division 1 fourth grade boys 29-25 victory over St. Rose of Santa Rosa.
The Windsor boys trailed 21-16 after three periods. But it was all OLG in the fourth quarter. Dylan Pasamonte and Chase Lloyd led the locals to the comeback victory. Each scored four points in the final frame.
Lloyd was the game high scorer with his 12 points. Pasamonte and Gavin Boyce followed with eight and five respectively. Ernesto Nevarez and Adam Henry rounded out the OLG scoring with two points each.
Coach Earl Pasamonte’s team ran their record to 2-0 in NBCYO play. This Saturday they travel to Petaluma for a 12 p.m. game with St. Vincent. OLG has home games 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sundays at Windsor Middle School. The public is invited to attend all games.
