The annual “October in Paradise” event will benefit the Sonoma
County Task for the Homeless, a coalition of service providers,
businesses and individuals working to end homelessness in Sonoma
County. The event on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. will
be held at the Paradise Ridge Winery, 4545 Thomas Lake Harris Dr.
in Santa Rosa and includes dinner, dancing and auctions. Tickets
are $60 per person in advance and $75 per person at the door.
Ticket orders should be sent to the Sonoma County Task Force on the
Homeless, 100 Sebastopol Rd., Santa Rosa, CA 95407. Anyone

Windsor’s big night for
schools

The Windsor Educational Foundation will host its annual “Equinox
Evening” this Saturday, Sept. 20 from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at the
Kendall Jackson Wine Center, 5007 Fulton Rd. in Santa Rosa. The
event features food prepared by WHS culinary arts students, music
and silent auction. All proceeds benefit music, arts, sports and
enrichment programs in the Windsor Unified School District. Tickets
are $50 per person after Sept. 12. For more information, call
