Suey Lan Kong

Suey Lan Kong, joined our Heavenly Father peacefully in San Francisco, California surrounded by family on April 5, 2019 at the age of 89 from stroke related complications.

Michael Steven Walton – July 9, 1970 – April 9, 2019

Mike was a loving husband and dedicated father of 5, and an extremely kind and generous person. His wife and children always knew he supported whatever they were doing, or attempting to do. He was also always willing to lend a helping hand to any family, friends, or even strangers. No matter what was going on in his life, he always had time for others. 

Linda Evelyn Stuart – March 2, 1947 to April 6, 2019

Linda Evelyn Stuart passed away on Saturday, April 6th surrounded by her entire family. Her husband Norman, her sons Bruce and Richard (Jay) and her much loved grandchildren Hunter (Lauren) and Annie. She had seen her brother John Bruce, her sister in law Mary Bruce and her nieces and nephews; Robert (Ida), Matthew (Nichol), Megan (Sam) and Katelyn (Davin) earlier in the day. Linda went peacefully after mounting a tough fight against kidney failure over the last year.

Sheldon Saruk

Sheldon (Sonny) Saruk, aka “The Walking Man,” took his last step on Monday, 4/8/2019. Sonny was born in Chicago on 8/17/1934 and lived there until he moved to California in the late 1950s. By then, he had started his family with his first wife Lillian and their two children Michael and Michele. He lived in the Southern California beach towns where he then met his current wife Sheri and started his private practice in psychology before moving to Sonoma County. He spent the last 25 years enjoying life in Cloverdale with his wife and their many friends.

Jo Ann Stan

Jo Ann Theodora (Korb) Stan passed away suddenly after a short illness in the early morning of Monday, April 8. Jo is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, George Stan, five of her six children, Mike Stan (May), Jim Stan, Pat Stan (Lorna), Bill Stan (Sheryl), and Nancy McTygue (Jeff), her sisters Marietta Mancuso and Lyla Gregg, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and scores of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Bridges. 

Elizabeth Ann Bermudes

Elizabeth (Beth) Ann Bermudes, wife, mother, grannie and former Healdsburg High School teacher passed away with her family present April 3rd, 2019 at her home in Alexander Valley. Beth was the eldest daughter of Frank and Czarina Rountree and was born December 23rd, 1940 in Los Angeles California. Beth grew up with her two sisters, Cynthia and Suellen, in Sun Valley California and had memories of her father playing with the kids on the block and her mother running the household. Beth graduated from John Francis Polytechnic High and was active in her Christian youth group.

Kathryn Margaret Newman

Kathryn Margaret was born in Salmon, Idaho, on January 28, 1927. Her parents were Mildred Cox and Jay Leonard. She grew up in Idaho and Montana. She married Harold Newman in 1970 and lived in Mountain View, CA until they moved to Cloverdale in 1999, purchasing a home in the Del Webb Clover Springs Community, where they made new  friends and enjoyed the community.

Rose M. Salazar Pereira

Rose M. Salazar Pereira “Rosie,” age 73, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2019 surrounded by her beautiful family. Dear Daughter of Manuel Salazar (deceased) and Manuela Duarte Salazar. A beloved wife of 48 years to the late Alfred Pereira and a loving Mother to John Pereira (deceased), Angelina Pereira and Chrystal Rose Pereira. Wonderful Grandmother to Joel Pereira Allen, Mercedes Pereira-Galindo, Aliyana-Rose Pereira Carrillo and John Xavier Pereira Carrillo. Survived by a large family, Rosie was one of 9 siblings, Lupe Tellas Salazar (deceased), Salvador Salazar, Micaela Salazar Lopez, Manuel Salazar (deceased), Delia Salazar, Carmen “Susie” Salazar, Juan Salazar, Orlando Salazar and was sister in law to Dolores Pereira.

William Wight Booth

Passed away peacefully at home in Santa Rosa on February 6, 2019, at the age of 83. Bill is lovingly survived by his wife of 32 years, Susie Booth, and his family: William Booth Jr. (Michael Gambino), Kimberly Waskiewicz, Tiffany Brock (Neal), Lisa Gummer (Scott) and Maia Highsmith (Dave Gremeaux) and  grandchildren Kathryn and Victoria Waskiewicz; McKenna, Parker and Bailey Brock; Ella, Swen, Calvin and Lars Gummer, and Juan Booth; and great-granddaughter Aubrey Jane Winton.
