Paul D. Kent – Member of Healdsburg Community
Church

Paul D. Kent passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 5, 2008 at the age
of 59. He is lovingly survived by his mother Wannee Kent; brothers
Charles Kent (Beverly), George Kent, and Jay Kent (Jeanne); as well
as his extended family, The Camp Rose Players. He was preceded in
death by his father, David Kent and sister-in-law, Doris Kent. Paul
was an employee and active member of the Healdsburg Community
Church. He was also a member of The Raven Theatre Group. He was a
wonderful man who will be missed by many.

Andrew “Andy” Vasconi – Worked at Italian Swiss Colony
for 33 years

Andrew “Andy” Vasconi passed away in Santa Rosa, CA on Dec. 2,
2008 at the age of 97. He was born in Concord, CA to the late
Guiseppe and Emilia Vasconi. He moved to Sonoma County as a child
with his family where he attended schools in Asti and Cloverdale,
and worked for Italian Swiss Colony for 33 years and the Sonoma
County Cooperative Winery until his retirement in 1989. He and his
wife Rose were married on Feb. 17, 1935 and had two children.
Andrew enjoyed watching the 49ers and Giants, and in his younger
years played baseball with Tony Lazzari of the New York Yankees. He
is survived by his wife of 73 years Rose Vasconi; daughter Carole
Pasquini and husband Paul of Cloverdale; son Larry Vasconi and wife
Diana of Cleveland, WI; grandchildren Joe Pasquini of Santa Rosa,
Dolores Brannon of Brookings, OR, Lori Wood of Jackson, MI, Anna de
Laney of Windsor, James Vasconi, of Howard Grove, WI, and Gina
McCoy of Simi Valley, CA; 11 great- grandchildren; brother-in-law,
Nello Baiocchi of Healdsburg, niece Annette Smith and other
numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation was held between 1 and 3
p.m. on Friday Dec. 5, 2008 at Windsor-Healdsburg Mortuary, 9660
Old Redwood Hwy. in Windsor. A rosary was held Saturday, Dec. 6,
2008 at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe
Church, in Windsor. Interment was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec.
8, 2008 at Oak Mound Cemetery, 601 Piper Street in Healdsburg.

Katherine Sylvia Chiriboga – Longtime resident of
Healdsburg

Katherine Sylvia Chiriboga of Healdsburg, died Dec. 3, 2008 in
Sonoma at the age of 80. Katherine was the wife of the late Hugo
Chiriboga and was the loving mother of Frederick, Douglas, James,
Paul, Larry and Steven Chiriboga. She was the dear sister of
Lillian Line and Florence Flavin, and adored grandmother of 11.
Katherine was a dedicated homemaker and longtime resident of
Healdsburg. She was a native of Houghton, Michigan. A memorial mass
was held Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at 1 p.m., at St. John the
Baptist Church, 208 Matheson Street, Healdsburg, CA 95448.
Daly Hansen – Born in Italy, lived in
Sebastopol

Daly Hansen died at home on Nov. 23, 2008. A native of Italy,
born on April 13, 1928, Hansen lived her adult years in San Rafael
and Sebastopol.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Liana and
great-grandchildren Bella and Bishop Gerboth. She is survived by
her husband, Clarence “Bud” Hansen; daughter Diana Storm; sons
Nicola and Raffaello Pata, Debra, Gary and Michael Hansen;
grandchildren Dave and Steve Gerboth, Heli Hansen, and Joey Pata;
great-grandchildren Brandon, Miranda and Zennon Souza, Gwyneth
Hansen, Andrew, Alisa, and Mathew Gerboth; nieces, nephews,
great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews in
Italy and Argentina.
Anthony Yurievitch Kulikoff – USAF Veteran, retired
Postal worker

Tony Kulikoff died on Nov. 28, 2008 at the age of 73. Kulikoff
was born in China on Feb. 4, 1935 to Yuri M. and Mary S. Kulikoff.
He was a veteran from the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of
Master Sargent, and retired postal employee. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Ila Rose and son Victor. He is survived by his
son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Julia Kulikoff of Olympia, WA;
sons, Steven and Michael; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and
Dennis O’Brien; and grandchildren, Christina and Bryan Kulikoff,
Nichelle, Justin, William and Kelsey O’Brien of Rohnert Park.
Robert Warren Johnson – Leaves behind Sammie the Golden
Retriever

Robert Warren Johnson died on Nov. 25, 2008 in Sebastopol at the
age of 74.
Johnson was born on May 31, 1934 in Boston, MA to Warren H. and
Aleta Johnson.
He joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 and retired a Chief
Postal Clerk in 1972, after 21 years of service. He then went to
work for the U.S. Postal Service in 1972 and retired as an AIS
Administrator in 1991. In 1991 he joined the Hessel Fire Station
Support Team and was an active member until his passing. Johnson
was an active member in EZ Wheelers Travel Club since 1994.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda I. Johnson;
his Golden Retriever Sammie and his children Bob Johnson, Jr.,
Robin and Kelly Foutz, and Ron and Kathi Johnson; grandchildren
Kristie and Barry Roberts, Corie Maggi, Robert III and Daytona,
Nick, Jeff, and Dustin Johnson; seven great-grandchildren; and
sister Eva and Bud Gallagher.
Johnson was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Stephanie
Maggi.

William Henry V. ‘Bill’ DeWolf – Owner of 7-11
store

Bill DeWolf died at his home surrounded by his wife and
daughters Dec. 2, 2008. He loved life, his family and friends and
had a good sense of humor.
DeWolf was the proprietor of Sebastopol’s 7-11 store for 17
years, where he posted a sign that read “No Smiling in Store.”
He leaves behind his wife, Dian; his daughters, Jessica, Andrea,
and BillieAnn; his sons-in-law, Dave, Joe and Trevor; and his eight
grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Andrea, Haley, Cameron, Madison,
Cole, and Benjamin.
A celebration of DeWolf’s life will be held Saturday, Jan. 3 at
the Sebastopol Veterans building. A reception will be held between
1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
