Betz Mittelstadt
A celebration of the life of Betz Mittelstadt will be held at noon, May 22 at the Hill/Vadon hunting camp, located across Highway 128 from the Hill Ranch near Yorkville. Betz moved to Cloverdale 65 years ago to raise a family with her husband of 54 years, Len Mittelstadt. Betz, famous for her bowling prowess and dancing skills, is survived by Len, daughter Cherie Mitchell, son John Reese, son Mike Peters, daughter Lynn Hoyer, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. All are invited to attend.
Doris Ann Bray
Doris Ann Bray, age 78, died on May 15, in Santa Rosa. She was born in Calistoga in 1938, a daughter of Clark and Stella Cade. She is survived by two daughters, Peggy (Marty) Erlandson and Laura (Ron) New; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and six siblings, Eugene, Mabel, Ray, David and Dorothy. She was preceded in death by two sons, David and Ron and a brother, Earl. Doris was a loving mother with a heart of gold. She enjoyed gardening and embroidery. She could put a smile on anyone’s face and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 23, at Oak Mound Cemetery 601 Piper Street, Healdsburg.
