Edna Warner
Edna Warner, a long-time resident of Cloverdale, died in her sleep during the early morning hours of Oct. 5, 2015 at Kaiser Hospital. Edna was predeceased by her loving husband Harry “Ed” Warner. Edna moved to Cloverdale with her husband Ed approximately 42 years ago, at which time they purchased and operated the Grapevine Restaurant for many years until her retirement. Edna spent most of her time in the kitchen where she prepared amazing food for her customers who quickly became like family. Edna loved to travel to Germany to visit relatives and go camping with her husband and friends. Edna loved to visit the senior center and the library. Edna loved to knit and make jams and jellies and earned many ribbons during the Cloverdale Citrus Fair with her hobbies of cooking and knitting. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends. A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday Oct. 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church, 491 S Franklin St., Cloverdale.
