After four years of publication the North Bay Progressive has
folded, citing a lack of funds. The staff, editors and volunteers
concluded that the free newspaper was not going to be sustainable
without continuous donations. But they are asking one last time for
help in retiring $7,000 in debts. They are holding a Dance Party in
Sebastopol April 8 from 7:30 p.m. to midnight at the Sebastopol
IOOF Hall, 195 Main Street (Enter on McKinley across from Whole
Foods). The band Wasabi will perform and tickets are $10. Beer,
wine and chili will be available. Tax-deductible donations are also
welcome. Send them to:North Bay Progressive; P.O. Box 14384, Santa
Rosa, CA 95402.

“If you want your dreams to come true, don’t sleep.”
-Yiddish Proverb
“All men dream – but not equally. Those who dream by
night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find
it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for
they may act with open eyes, to make it possible.” – T.E.
