Neil Brady spent his last moment on earth in the arms of his wife and son listening to Amazing Grace. Neil’s battle with cancer ended on February 1, 2017. He was 58 years old. Neil Ernest Brady was born April 15, 1958, to Thomas Brady and Marjorie (Upper) Brady in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He moved with his family to California in 1960. After many years as a vineyard manager for Belle Terre Ranch in Alexander Valley, Neil worked in facilities maintenance for the City of Santa Rosa, eventually retiring from the Town of Windsor. Neil loved an adventure. An avid SCUBA diver, Neil traveled the world, diving the ocean’s best reefs. He traveled extensively, rode bulls in his cowboy days, loved to ski and had a knack for finding the best restaurants wherever he landed. He enjoyed all types of music, visiting with his many friends and could often be found at the local concerts and festivals enjoying both. Neil’s greatest joy in life was his son Logan and the adventures they shared. He leaves his wife of 14 years, Tricia Goffo Brady and their young son, Logan Michael Brady, to treasure their time together. He will truly be missed by his brother, Phillip Brady; sister, Elaine (Brady) Gobeil, nieces, Tina Brady, Shannon (Brady) Clark, Michelle (Gobeil) Forbes; nephew, Jake Brady; and so many friends. Neil’s family asks for you to join them in celebrating a life well lived by taking a moment to listen to your favorite song, embrace the beauty of the day and hug your loved ones. In lieu of flowers, please extend an unexpected act of kindness in his name.
